The Batu Caves are made entirely out of limestone. The Batu caves got its name from the Sungai Batu also know as the stone river which flows past the caves. The caves are dedicated to Lord Murugan and theres a statue of him right by the bottom of the stairs.
When we got to Batu caves the first thing that I saw was the stairs. And you may be wondering why the first thing that I saw was the stairs and that’s because the stairs where so colorful and pretty it was awesome. When we got to the top of the stairs we saw the caves it was so pretty and also there was a bunch of trash. The trash was not from humans it was from monkeys and yes I did just say MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!
We walked to the next part of the cave and there was a wall that was made of rocks and guess what? There were so many monkeys it was crazy. We saw one monkey with a coke bottle drinking the leftover coke that was in it. When a bell rang all the monkeys would climb up the rock wall to the very top. When we were working our way to another cave we saw so many adorable little baby monkeys!!! They were SO CUTE!!!!!!
When we were finished in the other cave we walked and it was raining a little bit but as we were walking to our taxi we saw so many monkeys going somewhere dry.
